In some cases, it can limit the performance or stop the engine completely to avoid more damage. Any advice on troubleshooting?? Maybe the jet pump is the issue. Have started many other 850s and no issues and of course warranty done . I did get a cam case sensor code once but it went away. The engine turns over and sputters like it wants to start but it does not ever stay running. The battery is brand new We get 90 in one cylinder and 50 in the other (psi). He started it when I picked it up and it fired up just fine, but he said the battery was dead (he had just charged it) so I was going to need to buy a new one. It has a newish duralast battery (I have two skis and both batteries will start the other ski). It doesnt even click at the starter as if it were bad.
